About
I paint to bridge the ordinary and the enchanting, sharing the beauty discovered in everyday corners. Through urban landscapes, I reveal nostalgia and hope, blending reality with surrealism. Vibrant colors and intricate details challenge perceptions, fostering deeper connections with our surroundings. My art sparks dialogues about the impact of urban environments on our lives, inviting viewers to find beauty, magic and hope in the chaos.

Growing up in India and now calling San Francisco home, I find magic in the everyday moments of city life. My paintings are love letters to urban spaces – capturing everything from sun-dappled coffee shops where neighbors share stories, to the quiet dignity of the Ingleside Terraces Sundial standing sentinel over generations of San Franciscans. With each brushstroke, I aim to transform familiar street corners into portals of wonder, where the ordinary and extraordinary dance together.
I believe art belongs everywhere – not just in galleries, but in the places we gather daily. You'll find my work brightening the walls of local cafes, adding whimsy to neighborhood parklets, and bringing color to community festivals. Each piece is an invitation to pause and rediscover the beauty that surrounds us, even in the most unexpected places.
My journey as an artist has grown naturally into community building. As the founder of Ingleside Gallery – our neighborhood's first art space – and through my role at ArtSpan SF, I work to create opportunities for artists and neighbors to connect, share stories, and inspire each other. From curating exhibitions at San Francisco City Hall to organizing shows in family-owned coffee shops, I've seen firsthand how art can strengthen the bonds between people and places.
At heart, my work is a celebration of urban life in all its complexity – the morning light on Victorian facades, the warm glow of shop windows at dusk, the familiar faces at the corner store. Whether I'm painting in my studio or installing a community exhibition, I'm driven by a simple belief: that every street, every building, and every person has a story worth telling. Through art, we can help these stories shine.
